#8 Cart Path Update

I would like to give an update on where we stand with the new cart path on #8. All old cart path has been removed and the new path has been cut. We have installed the road base and will allow this to settle for roughly 3 - 4 weeks until there has been adequate compaction and is ready for the installation of the road material.



We are trying something new with this project, in the past we have had the edge of remaining asphalt crumble as it ties into the new stone path material. This year we are re-purposing the Belgian block that we have accumulated and are installing an apron in this transition area. I am hopeful that this will provide a stronger transition from one surface to the next.
